Turbo Arrow IV experience adverse yaw problems, Turbo Arrow III is fine
-
My turbo arrow IV is having really bad adverse yaw after the 0.4.0 update that wasn't there in the 0.3.0 update. After any aileron input, even if it's properly coordinated, the plane will swing left and right for about 5-10 seconds. Interestingly, the Arrow III flies straight as an... arrow... I remember the III and IV feeling very similar in 0.3.0, so I think this is a new problem introduced in the 0.4.0 update.

Noticed the same, see here: https://community.justflight.com/topic/2607/differences-in-flightmodel-between-turbo-arrow-iii-and-iv
Not sure though if the 3 is more realistic or the 4. I also own the Warrior as well as the non-turbo arrow 3 and they all do oscillate, so the turbo arrow 3 is actually the one that is off.

Somehow the III didn't get the adverse yaw parameters tgincluded in the recent update, the IV did. That is why you see the difference. At the moment, changes are being made to the core flight model which may solve the pendulum-like issue caused by having the adverse yaw lines present so nothing will be done until that becomes available at which point we will reassess the situation and see if the behaviour has been improved.
Adverse yaw currently is just drag added to the ailerons with very little in the way of adjustment available to us to incorporate it into the whole package. It should improve given what is being worked on, meanwhile if the effect / resulting behaviours are spoili g your enjoyment I suggest opening flight_model.cfg and find the two lines Aileron Drag Up / Down and put a semi-colon before them, that should temporarily remove the effect.

@toxicresonance bluntly, neither - adverse yaw should be present (which it isn't in the III). It is present in the IV, but creates other issues because of the way it was implemented without looking at all aspects of it - this is nothing that we can resolve, Asobo are currently making alterations to the core flight model which will hopefully fix the issues.
