EGT too high?

    Lately I've noticed the EGT shows really high temperatures. I'll be flying a standard climb at full mixture and 25/25 power, settle into a 4,500 ft cruise, with 7C OAT. I go to lean the mixture and EGT is already at red line. Leaning it brings it way over red line to the far right of the gauge. I haven't changed how I do anything since the Arrow launched. I noticed this starting to happen a few weeks ago, before SU5. Anything I'm missing?

      @Kengou, The "red line" marker (on the real life gauge it is colored yellow) that you see on the gauge is not the max EGT limit, it is only a reference marker that can be adjusted by turning the small knob in the center. The actual EGT limit is full scale on the EGT gauge.
