Problems I've observed since the new Sim Update. I haven't seen anyone mention these yet:

    • Unable to adjust cabin fan / heat percentage (useful for when flying in icing conditions)
    • Flyable with mixture completely cut (0%) - never tried this before the update but guessing this is a new issue?

The issue with the mixture lever is due to MS/Asobo introducing a new system for animating/controlling levers, switches etc. It's not currently clear how to resolve that as we're awaiting a new version of the SDK but in the meantime the mixture lever will now animate through the full 0-100% range with the mixture lock on but the actual mixture setting will not drop below 40%, hence the engine still running.

But that is the case only if you have mixture lock engaged, right?
I was able to cut off mixture and the engine died as expected, if I remember correctly (need to test it again).
If the mixture lock is the culprit, probably the workaround is to simply not use it (or disengage if you start on the runway since then it's engaged automatically).

@copper Correct, only an issue with the lock engaged
