According to the real world PIM:
"An alternate static source is available as optional equipment. The control valve is located below the left side of the instrument panel. When the valve is set in the alternate position, the altimeter, vertical speed indicator and airspeed indicator will be using cabin air for static pressure." Apparently the aircraft used for this model did not have one even though the placard is present.

The placard is exactly as per the real world aircraft on which we based our simulation.

The control valve hasn't been included as it's hidden below the panel which would have required a dedicated camera view or a manual manoeuvring of the camera, and it's a very rarely used control. We can look into adding it though if there is sufficient interest.

@Martyn So used to seeing it I was curious as to where it went since the placard was in view. Never actually even tried to use it in sim.

Not a huge deal but since someone else brought it up I would like to see this added. I noticed when I first got the arrow that it was missing from there and was a bit disappointed.

I to was a bit thrown at the lack of a control for the alt static air source.
