This seems to happen after updates to some people. Check the usual things (fuel, oil, battery) and if none of that works, try uninstalling and reinstalling

@vcapra1 Yeah have done all the ususal culprits. Seems like an issue with the battery or the fuel pump code. Not sure. Will try a clean install

When I loaded back in after reinstalling, the battery was over 10v but I stupidly hit recharge out of habit from trying to get the thing to run in the first place.
It dropped it down to 8.8v and now it wont start at all and just drains the battery down. So do I have to reinstall again? In which case i think i will just be requesting a full refund for both products as this is ridiculous, Asobo issue or not.

It's the old battery voltage bug from way back...still present!

Which coincidentally when you google this issue it brings up a load of similar/same issues from the FSX/P3D days which is really concerning. I have only ever flown this aircraft in Xplane and it is upsetting to think they have allowed this to not be corrected in all that time.

@Bagpipe 8.8V is enough charge which is why it sets it to that when you hit recharge. That's odd though, I've never experienced this problem. Out of curiosity, what makes you think it's specifically an issue with the battery?

Another thing you could try is re-installing the previous version (if you still have the installer in your downloads folder) just to see if it works. And if it does, try the new version again.

In any case, personally I'd recommend hanging onto the product as I doubt this issue will persist. Especially if you enjoy ga and vfr flying, this is the best such plane available for fs2020 imo.

You really should contact Just Flight support about this. If you can't get the aircraft to start that's a fairly fundamental issue and should be fixable.

@vcapra1 My issues started since the last patch so I would still be up the creek.
I will give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it could be an issue with my steam version of msfs because I know the file structure is different which could mess with how they perceive their state saving system to work but that is a complete guess from me.

I will give support a shout and hopefully we can work it out, this aircraft is literally the only reason I still have msfs still installed, until more higher fidelity GA addons reach the market at least.

Thanks for now anyway guys 🙄

Just let it start the engine automatic once. Then let the engine run for a bit to charge the battery. Next flight should be fine.

@Harry_W See my OP. It doesn't start automatically (with presets) OR manually. Thanks though

Have you tried turning off state-saving on the EFB?

@Delta558 Yep. Turned it off before uninstall/reinstall and it still saved the state of the levers. Which I assume may be to do with steam install file structure possibly.
I have raised a ticket now so will await the outcome and post here if we reach a resolution

                          1. Make sure fuel is not completely empty. Sometimes with new updates the tanks start completely dry.

Also check the engine damages and repair of needed 😉

Just to update, the support guys got me up and running again. Managed to convince state saving to stop saving the state and they showed me how to add the payload options to the in-flight toolbar at the top so I could adjust levels from there instead of when selecting aircraft. Hopefully this bug gets fixed by assobo soon enough but for now we are ok at least. Thanks JF
