We don't do forum support:
https://community.justflight.com/topic/2/product-support
The DC-8 was released a long time ago, so it is unlikely there will be much forum discussion about it now. If you have a problem with the software your best bet would be to contact Just Flight Support.

I know, I know, but it is not only that "old" DC-8, unfortunately the reactions for other products are not much better....
And what concerns the DC-8, the thread I found in the new forum was already ported over from the old one where it had remained without answers...Even with the explicit announcement that there is no forum support, it seems that people come to the forum for help, among others due to the lack of same through other channels.
All in all not a good sign of customer friendly behavior, I am afraid...

If by support 'through other channels' you mean our Support system, then it is widely acknowledged as being among the best in the business. The forum is quite busy with customers discussing our products but this is obviously dictated by popularity. There are many posts, threads and topics on the recent GA releases for MSFS. Not so many on older titles. That is simply a reflection of what people want to talk about. As I say, if you have a problem with something, support is always the best place to go.

I did not mean to offend anyone here and I regret if you had this impression.
All I want to say is that I have observed a low rate of response in the forum and as you said, it seems to be more like a marketplace for opinions than an exchange of knowledge. That is not necessarily a bad thing, and I can see the merits of your customer support through direct communication.
Perhaps this phenomenon is also an indication that there are not many problems with your products. I for one do not have any, I was just looking for information not solutions....
Good success and best wishes to all users!

None taken but perhaps "It seems that support really sucks here, sorry to say that." may have given that impression. All we want to convey is that yes, the support 'really sucks' because we don't really do forum support. However, if you ask a question or express an opinion it is more than likely you will get an answer - even if it is only to refer you to our Support team.
Thanks for your good wishes.

I have used TG since release and have tried to help users if I can with install and compiling, and have shown how too create and edit flight plans.
As for my opinions on the future of TG I would like to see it succeed into what is was intended a real world AI traffic program that the users can easily tweak to there liking. And a database the user will will see the real livery's in the airport for that part the world.
