    I'm new to the package, but when I place the aircraft on the runway, it loads with everything on and the engine running as it should. The engine starts to automatically rev to warm up, as per the manual, but then after a little while the engine dies down and stops. I am curious as to what I might be doing wrong, and if anyone has some advice for me. This is of course MSFS and I have installed the most recent package available from JF. I am not using State Saving.

        @Sender46

        Yes, about 50%

        I just realized, this is since the 1.17.3.0 update. Could something have changed with that?

          Try starting the flight with your hardware throttle around the 50% point. It may be that this required situation in both the real and sim aircraft startup procedure is causing a problem when the sim automatically starts the engine.

            @Delta558

            Okay, I think I found something. I noticed that the ignition switch, after start, upon returning to BOTH, that's when the engine died. I tried the maintenance button for the engine, problem gone. I didn't realize that there must have been some engine damage from previous flights...good to know!
