GNS530/430 Blank



  • So no matter what I do, the GNS530/430 are always a black screen and I can't figure out why, I've been troubleshooting for an hour and I'm at a dead end. Anyone else have this bug?



  • Same issue here with the latest version (V 1.0.34) of the PMS GNS530 mod, or even stock.

    The GNS mod itself is confirmed working in other planes - both default and Carenado.

    On the Arrows, the GPS100 works, but the 530/430 always shows a black screen (regardless of mod or not).
    Can't get it to switch on with the power knob, or via panels states.

    The issue manifests on both Arrow and Turbo Arrow (just purchased the bundle).

  • Things to try...

    Turn up the volume knob.
    Check the breaker, specifically the one on the bottom left.

    After that try deleting the planes from your community folder and reinstalling.

    I have the same exact issue. The GPS100 works, but the 530 or 530/430 is simply blank. I have tried with and without the GNS mod...no go.

    I have tried pressing the 'C' button to turn on the power, increase the volume, but it does not make any difference. The screens are always blank.

    I have also tried reloading by pressing the ESC key, then pressing the HOME button to reload. Still the same problem.

    I hope we can figure this out...

  • Still not working after update. No mods, nothing in community folder. No errors. I have an open ticket, so hopefully we'll get it working soon. Just thought I'd follow-up on this thread.
