Airframe noises perhaps linked to TAS instead of IAS?

    In a decent out of FL200, I nosed over and picked up about 10 knots. The airframe sounded like it was coming apart. IAS was in the 120-130 knot range. TAS was exceeding 178, the "max" (indicated) airspeed. Perhaps sound changes related to speed are being driven by TAS instead of IAS. Anyone else experience this? It may be present in the Arrow III (non-turbo) as well, but I never fly it at altitudes where TAS would be in the 180ish range (during a descent).

    Yeah I just noticed this when starting a descent from 21,000. TAS was about 190-odd but IAS was only about 145 or something. Sounded like she was going to fly apart!

    @BernieV Where the hell is Alameda? Lol.

    On a more serious note, it happens even in level flight when I was experimenting with high power settings at high altitude.
    TAS was quite hight but was still in the green arc on the dial.
