Both the yellow needle and the heading bug move around in a jagged fashion. It's always been this way but since no one else has ever mentioned it I'm wondering if its just me?

I've noticed it too. It seems to align to 1 degree increments

How does it behave in a default MSFS aircraft?

Can't find one in a default plane, way too much glass. The Mooney has one though and it rotates smoothly.

It's smooth in the default 152 and 172. I suspect the code for the arrow just rounds the angle to an integer before applying it
