I just performed a max altitude test flight with 1 Pilot and 1/2 fuel, using CLEAR weather. I was able to achieve the following excellent results...
Max Altitude: 17,500 ft. AMSL
Vertical Speed: 200+ fpm
TAS: 137 knots
Cruise Power: 55% Best Economy
Throttle: Full
Prop: 2000 RPM (max fuel flow)
Mixture: Peak EGT
