Gear control assignments

Hello,
Can the gear switch be tied to the Gear Up and Gear Down events, in addition to Gear Toggle? Or is this the same as with the fuel pump and the sim doesn't publish those events?

I have the Gear Up and Gear Down commands assigned to the GEAR lever on my Honeycomb BRAVO quadrant, and it works fine...

Doesn't work for me. I tried both with joystick assignments and keyboard assignments. Tried pulsed commands and tried hold commands.

@RetiredMan93231 Also, just to be clear, cause i know there are a lot of people using lvars to control things, i am talking about the Gear Up and Gear Down commands in the sim control assignments.

@Cristi-Neagu , Yes... I am only using the native MSFS commands.
