See 4 mins 10 secs into this video:

Real life, runway 23, wind 310 at 7 knots. Nice smooth takeoff with no apparent yaw/weather vaning on leaving the ground.

I wish my takeoffs in the Piper Arrow could be like that, rather than the sudden excessive yaw/weather vaning I get on leaving the ground in only mild crosswinds. I do know about holding the yoke into the wind and anticipating this but it still feels excessive. Yesterday it even happened with MSFS saying "wind calm".

While I'm grateful for all that JF have done so far, I think I can safely say that this one thing spoils my enjoyment more than anything else. Fingers crossed hoping this can be fixed in the next update.

@Sender46 This is an FS2020 issue. It's been flagged in the community, with numerous Zendesk tickets too, i'm sure, but we're still having trouble getting the message across to Asobo.

As Cristi said, it's not just with the Arrow, but others in the sim. I can't stand it either, as I fly the Arrow real world and never had it like this. That being said, I've noticed that if you ease the pressure on the nosewheel during the takeoff roll, it doesn't weather vane as much.

I don't accept that it's just an FS2020 issue. As I have posted before, Robert Young's Bonanza Turbo V3 mod handles beautifully on the ground and in the air (including taking off and landing) and shows what can be achieved within the limitations of FS2020.

@JMAviation Thanks for the tip, I'll give that a try.
