Transponder ident not working

I was playing on VATSIM and requested to ident transponder, it did not work and had to do it thru VATSIM software though.

Don't know if it is the same thing, but it happens also with Pilot2Atc software.

The software doesn't recognize the transponder status (ident, stand-by, ALT), only the squak code, and I'm forced to change the status from the P2A user interface...

I can only see the ability to set the transponder code and mode (OFF/STBY/ON/ALT/TEST) in the SDK, nothing that would allow us to trigger an ident.

Asobo has since added a simvar that would allow the ident button to function properly. I believe it is 'TRANSPONDER IDENT:1'
