        And.....it works....finally!

        So, uninstall completely > find appdate folder containing state saving and delete > install 0.2.0 version > set up state saving again and select GNS530 > exit flight and enter new flight > carry on as if nothing even happened 🤣 😘

            I didn't need to find any folders. I just hit the uninstall shortcut in the Just Flight folder in the Windows start menu then downloaded and re-installed and that worked fine.

                @Shifor @Bills2013gt it could be %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\justflight-aircraft-pa28-arrow-iii\

                  Just did a flight and the 530 worked. Started a new flight and it wouldnt turn on. Very strange issue lol.

                  Does it actually have a power on/off button (not that i normally do that just wondering)

                    For me, it didn't work in the first flight after install no matter what I did... restarting the sim and reloading fixed the issue... Now running OK...

                      .. for me the only way to make GNS 530 work is to install 0.2.0 on 0.1.0 ... 😉

                        @Florence

                        What worked for me was

                        1. uninstalling the 530 mod before installing the update. So delete the 539 mod from community folder.

                        2. Run the uninstall from start menu.

                        3. Install 2.0 update. Guess what? Black screen on the Garmin.

                        4. Quit msfs. Moved the 530 mod back into community and voila, worked again worked again without problems since.

                        No real idea why but I think it had to be a saved state somewhere.

                          ... I don't have any Mod but if I don't install the 0.2.0 on the 0.1.0 the GNS doesn't work for me I did a hundred tests ... let's wait for the 0.3.0 that should remove the problem ... let's hope ...

                            Same problem for me. Seems to work randomly now, but unrelated to battery. Have also found GPS goes haywire sometimes since update. Finally, although co-pilot is not enabled, he is usually there when I first go into the plane.
                            I think I'm going to wait for the next update and see if it fixes things. I really enjoyed it before the update - and sure I will again!
