How do I turn on the MWS override. Clicking it puts it in test - I want to silence the warnings during pre-flight ...

The O/Ride switch bypasses the MWS annunciator dimming and just makes them full bright.

On the real aircraft pulling (gently) on the red ground ops knob will silence the warnings and is the functionality you are looking for. It doesn't appear to be modelled though.
