Do not know which sim you are running TG should not spawn aircraft, AI will taxi using the shortest route this is down to the AFCAD file and airport layout. 1.1.1.8 is the full version but may be updated i hope, if not i may go back to another earlier version that has more traffic.

    P3Dv5.1 HF.

      Hi Ray.

      Apologies - I am running Prepar3D v4.5 HF3.

I don't know whether it is TG or P3D that spawns the AI, but I often find AI using the wrong runway and consequently taxiing in the wrong direction. It happened to me just a few days ago at EETN where there is just one main taxiway, so no way of avoiding conflicting AI traffic. There was a direct crosswind and the AI aircraft were landing on 08 instead of 26 (I checked on Flightradar24, and 26 was being used IRL).

I have seen on flight sim videos that the freeware package AIG has a controller where users can delete rogue AI. Does TG have anything that does the same thing?

Ray is right in that AI aircraft should follow the pattern laid down by the airport. Is this a default or an add-on airport?

          Hi Derek.

This was a third-party add-on airport. I try not to use default airports if I can avoid them.

            @westbros

As per Ray's post, it is the airport AFCADs that are likely to be the problem.

That's understood. However the main point of my question is whether we can delete conflicting AI aircraft?

still confused as TG doesn't spawn aircraft. You can remove a flight from the database but you'd need to know which one.

                  Hi.

Please don't misunderstand me. I'm not saying for one second that TG is spawning AI. I'm not asking at all what is responsible for the AI, as I realise that AI behaviour is not perfect. If you take a look at videos on YouTube by The Flight Simmer he often mentions that he uses the freeware AIG package from Alpha India Group, and you will often see that he deletes AI aircraft that are in his way. So if there are any offending AI aircraft he simply deletes them on the fly. All I am asking is whether there is a similar function with TG.

                    Hi Adrian,
It might be worth trying a truly excellent freeware program called 'AI Companion' which is available at AIG (it's possibly the method The Flight Simmer uses):
                    https://www.alpha-india.net/forums/index.php?topic=29651.0
It has options to both view and delete any ai aircraft visible in the sim.
I've tried it in FSX-SE with TG running and I was able to easily identify and delete any visible aircraft, just as you can when using AIG's ai.

Thanks. This was what I was aiming at. Just waiting for AIG to approve my login so that I can take a look.
