ATS logic
-
Hello,
i recenlty did a couple of flights with the fokker 100, and in the both flight i did notice something weird.
First one, at the beggining of TOD, the AC it start to pich down to follow the profile, the problem is that the ATS system does not reduce the thrust endind in overspeed situatuion (unless i use a different mode or i use the speedbrake). NOTE the FMA is showing IASt instead of LL.
Second problem, during the approach the ATS system is not able to keep the app speed, so the AP kicks off by itself, bringing me in abrupt pitch up condition. I have to re engage again the AP then the system it works back.
Any idea on what i'm doing wrong?
Also i don't know if is the logic built around the sytem, but is normal that the system is Always keeping IASt instead o LL during the descent? even if i'm on the descent profile?
