Thanks chaps. I'll be looking into why the cargo compiling is stalling for some people. I'm fairly sure I know what is causing it and will get it fixed.

I understand the gate size HARD 33
But RAMP GATE, 100. no, no , can they park at both RAMP or GATE.
I am still trying to workout why i get a parking error when i know ramps are available.

Those numbers are as follows...

parkingTypes = RAMP|CARGO|GATE|DOCK|MIL_CARGO|MIL_COMBAT (one or more)
IFR% = probability of this aircraft flying IFR (0 - 100)
AutoRoute? = automatically generate route for this aircraft (yes/no)
TouchAndGo? = allow touch and goes when automatically generating routes (yes/no)

RAMP | GATE means that the aircraft can be allocated to either ramp or gate parking.

Once I've got some of the top items from my to-do list sorted, I can work with you directly to work out what is going on, Ray

Thanks for that rich.
When you do have more time i can go into more detail and show you what the end user finds after compiling.
But for now i will carry on and see what i can find i have edited some of my flights, example the A300_600f is now AB6 and not ABY or ABF as before this caused a error in my plans unknown aircraft type.
Also the A300st BELUGA will not show i used this for LFBO flights.

I have just Installed the New Version of TrafficGlobal_EarlyAccess_1.1.1.7
I get exactly the same error !!
It stucked on Creating Cargo flight plans !!
I thought that with this version you would have fixed the issue , but unfortunately Not !

In my defence I never stated in the change log that this update was going to fix this. Unfortunately I haven't been able to replicate this issue, and nor has any of my colleagues here. That leaves me a little stuck as its very hard to track down the cause. I included some best-guess changes in this latest version, but it was very much a shot in the dark.
What I need are some volunteers to run a test version for me that will spit out a log which will hopefully allow me to identify the point at which this is happening.
If anyone reading this is happy to help me with this, please let me know!

thanks for adding selected airlines to the flight database, but I noticed that the flight database is not identical to the traffic in the flight simulator. Will it be fixed by the following updates? Thanks,

Hi Rich,

I installed the recent version of Traffic Global this morning (1.1.1.7).
Me too, I have the same problem, but if it can help you to investigate the source the problem, an error message appear just before the popup "Cargo Traffic... Crerating Crago Flight Plans..."
I thing this message is generated by Visual Studio.
The details of the message is in french beacause my IO is a french version (Win 10).

I don't know why but I am unable to copy this message in the clipboard. I am unable to select the text.
So, there is 3 print screen in wich you can see what line number of your code will be the source of the problem
I hope, that will help you:

If I click Continue, this message dissappear and the popup "Cargo Traffic... Crerating Crago Flight Plans..." stay on the top of the screen indefinitely.

For your information, I run the application as an admnistrator.

I use FSX SE and I have the same problem when creating cargo flight plans. However, at airports, cargo planes are visible and normally operate smoothly.

I'm also running FSX-SE and TG compiler is currently hanging on creating cargo flights.
For me, at least, the program hung in v1.1.1.6 too if I tried to compile airlines+cargo+ga all at once, but compiling each individually worked ok.
Some cargo ai is there because, when TG installs, it's copying a default set of flightplans into your scenery/world/scenery folder (this includes one traffic.bgl each for airlines, cargo & ga). Obviously, these'll be overwritten with flightplans compiled by the program taking into account whatever addon scenery you have in your scenery.cfg.

I only installed the new TG version yesterday but had no problem compiling Cargo flights, still testing.
P3Dv5 sim.

Hello ,

I have just installed Traffic Global (EarlyAccess 1.1.1.8)... and compiling Traffic Database never ends when "Include Cargo Traffic" is checked but does the job within a couple of minutes when the option is unchecked.
Default Sim seemed to be "Flight Simulator X" (probably because an old install of an A320 freeware from FLY UK wrote a path in my Windows registry), I deleted that path in the registry, uninstalled TG then reinstalled it ;-) But Cargo Traffic still hangs...

EDIT Sunday 10/11/2020: program do not hang when I unselect "Regenerate Schedules" for Cargo Traffic. I deleted all the .BGL but a file TrafficGlobalCargo.bgl was created (and last modified on April 3rd 2020?!):

The bgl`s that P3Dv5 use in the sim, i do not run GA flight and have about 100 major addon airport Europe and North America

Sorry to disillusion you but you'll find that the TrafficGlobalCargo.bgl you have is actually one of a complete 'default' set that's copied into your scenery/world/scenery folder when you install TG.
So the program has not, in fact, actually generated any additional cargo flights.:slightly_frowning_face:

Along with many others, I have yet to get 'compiling cargo traffic' to complete. The program itself appears to be stuck in a recursive loop.
