engines fire discharge bottles

Is it me or these levers aren't working at all? I tried every possible manipulation with the mouse.

If you do not have an engine fire bell sounding, there is the override grey button directly behind the fire handle. I have not tried to pull it myself in the simulator. But unless there is a fire bell sounding the fire handles will not release unless you press that override as is the real aircraft

I can confirm. No matter how and where I press nothing happens. OVRD button behind the handle can't be interacted with.
@Sleepy thats a shame. The system is either not modelled cause we do not have failures (I do not know any way to induce a fire, there is a way to provoke a hot start) or we have to find out a way to induce a fire in order for the fire handle to be released. Maybe if you run TOGA for too long with a high N1 and N2.

so we return to the debate to get a failure system.

The engine fire detection and extinguisher system is fully modelled but it looks like there's an interaction clickspot issue preventing the OVRD button from being used. We are investigating that now.

Other planes from other devs have had clickspot issues since SU5 and from what I am hearing it has been fixed in SU6 beta. May be worth testing in SU6 beta first to see if that is the case with this plane too before going on a wild goose chase.
