Sorry is someone covered this but does anyone have a simple method to install repaints from a FlightSim.to download. I’ve tried several times and unable to make it work. I’m using the Steam version of MSFS 2024. Any advice would be appreciated.

I had no problem installing them. Best way - in my opinion - is to copy the subfolder of your download (not the one with layout.json in it) to the F70 or F100 repaints folder and then regenerate the layout.JSON that was already there. This way 3rd party downloads are then placed in the same category/variant as repaints downloaded through the livery manager.

Does the OP mean the subfolder above the one that contains the Simobject folder? And should that be copied to the Airplanes folder in the F100 liveries folder?

There are a few online with no readme or such that explains the process of "regenerating a json file." Is that something done with a text editor?
