    Hello everyone,

On my first flight now, close to maximum weight in the F100. During climb in the PROF mode, the aircraft seems to have quite a hard time keeping the speed constant. It will constantly fluctuate between +-10 knots, and the VS will deviate quite some.

Is this a quirk of the aircraft and its systems or is it something else i have not considered? 🙂

Some deviation is expected, particularly in windy conditions, as the aircraft are approximately half the weight of a more conventional A320/737, so are more susceptible to wind.

If you see that behaviour again, could I kindly ask you to raise a support ticket for this with Just Flight Support at the following link: https://www.justflight.com/support

The F70 & F100 Professional are complex products, so in order to give our support team the best chance at offering speedy assistance, could you please include any screenshots/videos of the behaviour with your ticket, as well as attaching the log file?

Instructions for locating the log file can be found here: https://support.justflight.com/en/support/solutions/articles/17000152594-where-to-find-the-log-file-s-

          Hello,

I'm not the OP but I have the same " issue ". During climb in PROF speeds fluctuates A LOT ( independently of the wind ). Sometimes it gets quite low ( -15 kts over commanded ). Vertical speed during climb keeps changing from +2000 to +500 to fix the constant speed variation.

Same happened with me on the F70. Next time it happens, I'll pull the log and submit it in a support ticket.

Same issue here. I see rather extreme deviations from target speed on speed by pitch mode. Last flight on descending through 10000ft the plane happily let the speed increase to 280kt without correcting in prof mode (with speed limit 250 this is)

I believe I found the issue. On my latest flight I was paying very close attention to the F/D bar and how the autopilot follows it. Speed kept deviating from target ( like in all my flights ) and F/D bar commanded a lower pitch, however AP is very slow to react and causes the speed variation.
I disconnected the AP during cruise and by following the F/D bars I no longer have speed variations like on AP.
