    Hi all.

I've seen several influencers on YouTube who got early access to the Fokker preview, but I'd like to know if there's an option in the EFB or FMC to update the FMC database with the latest Navigraph AIRACs, or will we still be stuck with the poor experience of flying with outdated data on Xbox? From what I've seen, I didn't notice anything related to that in the videos. This is already the case with the UNS‑1 on the Fokker 28 and the BAe which is exactly why I stopped flying them, since it becomes impractical to plan current routes.

So the question is: Will the Xbox release version have any feature that allows users to update the database with Navigraph?

Thanks, and wish you all the best.

    Alan / From Brazil.

"This simulation of the F70 and F100 includes Navdata from the AIRAC 2503 cycle as standard. Although this is
not the most up-to-date AIRAC cycle, this Navdata should be sufficient in the majority of cases and should have
little to no effect on your overall simulator experience. PC users with an active Navigraph subscription can update their Navdata using the NAVIGRAPH HUB desktop
application. After opening the app, click the green UPDATE button for the required aircraft. Once the Navdata has
been successfully updated, the button will turn red and the text will change to REMOVE, allowing you to remove
      this newly installed Navdata."

This isn't a technical limitation, as other developers have already solved this database update issue via the FMC or tablet (e.g., PMDG). This is an old demand that, for some reason, was 'forgotten' at launch. It's like driving a Ferrari with a Beetle engine. A superb product that already ships, from day one, with outdated data. PC users can update at any time, while we Xbox users, well, maybe we'll get it years from now, if ever.

Thanks for the interest. The ability to update navdata via the EFB/tablet is something that is on our radar ahead of the console release of the F70 & F100 Professional. It isn't included in the initial PC release, as PC users can update their Navdata via the Navigraph Hub application, so it wouldn't be the best use of our time to develop it for the PC release.

It is something we intend to implement post-release and ahead of the in-game marketplace release for consoles.

@Mark thank you for listening to your customers. I've been a fan of JF for many years, and now I'm on Xbox Series X. I know it's not the ideal platform, but it's what allows me to fly your aircraft today. This is a limitation I've been hoping to see resolved for a long time. I'd also like to take the opportunity to ask if this could be extended to the Fokker 28 and the BAe as well, through an update sent to the Marketplace. Thanks!
