How to turn the FADEC back on?

Hello! I have just started learning how to fly the RJ and have been having a great time so far!
I was working through the tutorial flight included and during the cruise portion, I clicked the FADEC off buttons as I was messing around, however couldn't get them to turn back on. The buttons showed off but nothing happened when I pressed the button again and they remained off the whole time.
I saw another post regarding this where someone said they should just turn back on when pressing the button again, however no matter what I did I couldn't get them to turn on.
I'm not sure what I'm missing here so would appreciate any advice, thanks!
