Hi everyone, I have a question: I play on Xbox and own both the Avro 146 and the RJ Professional. The 146 has the 2601 AIRAC cycle, and the RJ Professional has the older 2401. Is this normal, or have I done something wrong?

    Best regards
    Jörg

The 146 Professional has two types of FMS, with each FMS using a different type of navdata:

'Classic' UNS-1 FMS - Developed by Just Flight and uses a custom Navdata format supplied by Navigraph. It is not currently possible to update the navdata of the UNS-1 on Xbox; however, it is something we have on our feature request tracker to investigate for a future update.
'Modern' ProLine21 FMS - Developed by Working Title and uses the simulator's default Navdata. The navdata used by the ProLine21 is updated every time the simulator's core navdata is updated.

The RJ Professional has one type of FMS:

GNLU-910A FMS - Developed by Just Flight and uses a custom Navdata format supplied by Navigraph. Like the UNS-1, it's not currently possible to update the navdata of the GNLU-910A on Xbox; however, it is something we have on our feature request tracker to investigate for a future update.

Just to note that 1) The Just flight RJ, the 146 and the F28 are exceptional aircraft to fly in the sim and perform exceptionally on Xbox - and the adding of Simbrief flight plan download on the RJ is transformational but the age of the nav data in the their databases is becoming a problem in day to day operation. Having a way to update the nav data on Xbox is becoming quite a priority for those of us who like to fly these aircraft s lot - is there a way that you could perform a one off update in the interim ( or say once every 6 months) whilst investigating a sustainable update mechanism- or is this actually a very problematic thing to do? Many thanks - and really looking forward to flying the F70/100…

It's not their nav data to be giving out in updates like that. Navigraph gives developers one AIRAC cycle as a business courtesy, but ultimately owns the data.
