I fired up the batteries and activated GPU, however it doesn't look like nav lights are working on the ground. Is there something else needed to be done?

Same with logo lights on tail.

Zoom in and have a closer view, they look like they could be lit.

MSFS 2024 has such a stark difference between night and day lighting that most developers tune for night lighting and thus leave day a bit dim, otherwise they would be overwhelming at night.

Maybe Asobo will take another look when they revisit the bloom at night.

this is correct, they are on, but you just can't see them whatsoever. definitely seems like a bug (not sure from where though)

Dim lighting during the day is a known limitation with all aircraft in MSFS 2024. Please see point 1 in our MSFS 2024 Known Limitations FAQ for further information: https://support.justflight.com/en/support/solutions/articles/17000143831-rj-professional-msfs-2024-known-limitations

I just searched the forums for this issue. My problem is not so much as how dim the red/green wing lights are, it's just that you have to zoom in pretty close to see them (even at night). Just wondering if this could be fixed so that you can see them a bit further out? The stobes are not a problem.

It's like this IRL with nav lights during the daylight. You can argue its a little bit to dark but its still perfectly within range. There are other areas where lights are to dark.
