RJ AND 146 SERIES AIRCRAFT IN MSFS2024 SU4 WILL NOT LOAD SIMBRIEF WEIGHTS CORRECTLY
-
Since MSFS2024 SU4 I have been unable to correctly load the aircraft weights into the aircraft EFB.
I load the Simbrief flight plan into the system on the MSFS world map page, before loading the aircraft at a gate at the departure airfield. Then I load the Simbrief plan on the OFP page of the aircraft EFB and check the output.
Then on the Aircraft page of the EFB I load the fuel and board the passengers. Once this is complete I check the weights, and the important weights are now incorrect. The fuel weight and the aircraft empty weight is usually correct but the ZFW and total aircraft weights are completely incorrect. I have re downloaded the aircraft but the situation is unchanged. Neither the RJ or the 146 will load the correct weights.
As an example I tried loading the 146-300 with no passengers and the Simbrief plan and the ouput in the aircraft EFB shows:TOW 37566 kgs
ZFW 28333 kgs
FUEL WEIGHT 9460EFB AIRCRAFT PAGE AFTER LOADING
GROSS WEIGHT 35887 kgs
ZFW 26427 kgs
FUEL WEIGHT 9460 kgsIf I load passengers and baggage then the difference between the Simbrief and EFB Aircraft weights is even more pronounced. The payloads do not seem to be loaded at all.
I didn't have any problems before SU4.
Am I doing something wrong?

OK Mark,
I will post a ticket.
Further examination shows that the only weights that are now correct in the aircraft tablet AIRCRAFT page are the empty weight and the fuel weight. Unfortunately the flipchart which provides the V speeds also shows the incorrect weights and therefore V speed. Even putting the correct weights into the MCDU PERF INIT page does not change the flipchart weight. As a further example with the RJ100 with 100 pax the Simbrief TOW is 43803 KG yet the aircraft flipchart and tablet are showing the TOW as 35568 / 36000 in the flipchart, so the Vspeeds are all wrong.
Sadly the MS system for aircraft weight and balance is complete garbage and only showing 2 passengers with no way of changing the weights to the correct figures. So the aircraft is not really fit for purpose.
