Currently the NAV/GPS switch will override the GNS/GTN CDI button, so you will need to just use the physical switch for those selections.

We'll add some logic to address the issue with the TOGGLE_GPS_DRIVES_NAV1 control assignment.

Please try pasting this replacement gauge into Packages\Community\justflight-aircraft-pa28-arrow-iii\SimObjects\Airplanes\JF_PA28_Arrow\panel, overwriting the existing file: Download here

Hopefully that will address both issues.

Is there going to be a fix for the switch controlling both NAV1 and NAV2 on the dual GNS530 units?

You can no longer select different modes on each GPS unit because the GPS/VLOC switch changes both GPS's NAV sources to the same thing.

I want to be able to fly with GNS 1 set on GPS to track the magenta line and GNS 2 set on VLOC to track VORs but can't do that now with the switch setting both units to either GPS or VLOC at the same time.

Do you see different behaviour when using the CDI buttons on the GNS 430/530 in the default classic C172?

@Martyn Thank you sir!!! Working great!!!

HA and because you made me have to go look at it, no, there is NOT different behavior in the 172.

@tailspins You can still see the VOR on nav 2 while nav 1 is following gps, I just checked.

@Martyn Thanks for the quick patch.

The CDI button on the GPS is now working.. so that corrects the issue that anyone with a Home Cockpit with a Physical bezel/LCD screen was having with the GPS CDI control.

Now ETHER the CDI button, OR the switch function to switch between VLOC & GPS.

                                      ===
A little strange to be seeing the switch operate by itself when operating the GPS.
Maybe you will consider on the next more formal update, just removing that switch for the GNS530/430 or GTN750 configurations, as it's only needed for the "old & dated" G100.

Maybe its worth explaining (assuming I am correct), that MSFS only supports ONE flight plan, so if the plane has both the GNS530 and GNS430, they are in effect in a Xrossfeed mode, where any flight plan modified on one, automatically updates the other.
There is also only ONE CDI function in MSFS (ie there is no CDI:Index) so any CDI function will affect BOTH GPS's that have a CDI button.
ie Pressing CDI on the GNS530, will also in effect be pressing the CDI button on the GNS430.
(This is also how it operates in the Asobo C172 Classic Steam Gauge Plane)
