Tutorial .flt not working

I have spent the evening trying the tutorial flight using the .flt file in the documents folder that came with the installation. Highly frustrating, because the radios don't seem to be working when using this flight file. No VOR signals, radio dials not working in the GNS, GPS 100 stuck in self test...

I have spent the evening trying the tutorial flight using the .flt file in the documents folder that came with the installation. Highly frustrating, because the radios don't seem to be working when using this flight file. No VOR signals, radio dials not working in the GNS, GPS 100 stuck in self test...
When loading the .pln file instead, and setting good weather at daytime, everything works fine (except for the ADF indicator, which begins to point towards Shoreham only 2 miles out from Goodwood VOR, not 20 as described in the manual).
They should fix the .flt file though...
