V1.1.2.0 is broken
-
@snoopy_belgium
Thanks for the suggestion but, no that doesn't appear to be the problem as uninstalling TG has always removed them all automatically.
Traffic_Global_Airlines.bgl (v1.1.1.9) is now TrafficGlobal_AI.bgl (v1.1.2.0) so, if this had have been the case I would still have both files
I've had every version since the very first release in May 2018 but never had this particualr issue before (which still doesn't mean that I haven't overlooked something, of course).
EDIT: perhaps you were right though! I just uninstalled v1.1.2.0 & it did leave the files behind! (going to try redownloading and reinstalling...sigh) -

v1.1.2.0 should now be fixed and is back up on the server, sorry for the inconvenience.
Apparently.....

I'm definitely getting too old for this....
Uninstalled v1.1.2.0 ( & deleted the traffic bgls)
Re-downloaded @ 15:00GMT and installed
Ran compiler
Exactly the same results
Compiler for GA still chugging away @ > 20 mins
I give up (well worth the £7 I saved by buying the EA version and fiddling about for the past 2 and a half years!)! -
Apologies all, we're getting it sorted with new and correct version number to be added. Bear with...

On second thought`s i may stay away from this one and stay with 1.1.1.9.
With a lot of editing and updating some default airports i have increased my AI BGL to 28,569.

but still some major airports are half empty due to the cut in flight plans for some airports in the database. -

I hope we have 1.1.2.1 asap because i not have anymore my 1.1.9 ;( Now my airports are all empty...
I keep a backup copy of my downloads on my backup drive old habit i still keep, and could go back to 1.1.1.5 with 48,000 flight plans.
And major airports crammed with aircraft.
I will install this one and have a look over Christmas. -
@Capt-Quirk
Thanks Buddy, but i will wait for a future soon release of TG fixed. I not want to enter into a copyright infringement to you or to me.
Thank You, I really hope soon we will have the v1.1.2.1 that can install and run wizard without any errors of missing bgl files. -
@stavka
You're quite right, stavka, perhaps best to wait for a fix. Since the very start, this is the first version that I've had this big a problem with.
Have a Happy Christmas and (hopefully) a much better new year in 2021!

@Capt-Quirk
Thanks Buddy, have a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year!
Best regards and wishes -
Merry Xmas and Happy NY !
I just uninstalled 1.1.1.9 , made sure no leftovers , tried to install 1.1.2.0 both normally and as Admin. with disabled A/V to no avail, I keep getting "Unable to copy traffic database to Prepar3d" after completing the "Compile Traffic Database"
Ran Diagnostics - no competing BGLs....
Latest Win10 64 and 5.1 HF1
Please advise
Cheers -

I'm an FSX user so I can't be certain of the setup for P3D but, since the ai sounds are all now included in the 'soundai' folder for each individual model, I would have thought that you should be able to hear them ok.
Have you checked the in game sound settings? Or have you accidently pressed the 'Q' key?
It wouldn't be the first time that something as fundamental as that has caused me to start questioning my sanity!
