GPS100 - MSFS2024
-
Hi all, newbie to the piper pa28 warrior ii
Is it a known bug for the GPS100 and KN 62 to not power on at all after starting the engines?

In the Warrior II, there is an Avionics Master above the circuit breaker panel that must be switched on after engine start. That always catches people out!
The location of the Anionics Master switch is lablled with the number 11 on page 20 of the PA-28-161 Warrior II Operations Manual: https://downloads.justflight.com/products/JFF003463/PA-28-161_WarriorII_MSFS_manual.pdf
Once the engine is started and the Avionics Master switch is set to ON, each of the avionics can be powered on using their respective controls.
Hope that helps.

@Mark Hi Mark,
Thank you! I did actually find it eventually after managing to remove the copilot and shifting across a little! Silly me.
Not sure if I should make a new topic but I’ve also noticed the tutorial flight is missing from the file too, unless this is somewhere else?

Yes, that is intentional. We removed the tutorial flight files from our aircraft packages in order to comply with some MSFS Marketplace requirements. The manuals likely do still refer to the tutorial flight files, and it is something we have logged to get corrected the next time the manuals get updated.
The old tutorial flight files simply loaded the aircraft at the location stated in the tutorial flight; they didn't affect the aircraft systems in any way. So as long as a flight is loaded at the departure airport stated in the manual, it'll still be possible to complete the tutorial flight in full.
