RF leg SID in LOWW to RNP 33 EDDH - Questions

Just Flight Fokker F100 & F70 Professional is my first purchase from Just Flight. I absolutely love and looking forward to A300B4 Professional. Just Flight did one amazing job.
So, I have been flying on VATSIM since release and today's leg was LOWW to EDDH.

The active runway at LOWW was 16 and the SID assigned to me via Simbrief and the Wien Delivery was LANUX 6B (a RNP 1 departure, RF required) which couldn't be chosen in the CDU as F100/F70 aren't approved to fly RF leg required SID. So I asked Wien Delivery to assign me LANUX 1F (RNAV 1, GNSS or DME required). The SID plate says "Restricted to acft not equipped for RF path terminator). LANUX 1F is selectable in the CDU. Did I do the right thing to ask for LANUX 1F?

Now, at EDDH, only Rwy 33 was active and the only approach that is possible on that runway was RNAV 33. Now legally F100 can't do RNAV approach but technically it kind of can, so at FAF, I set the altitute to 390 and pressed "PROF" for descent but the plane just wouldn't desend. I basically just performed a visual approach. I think all other runways at EDDG have ILS. What could I have done in this case when RNAV is the only approach in ATIS?

Yes you did the correct thing thing by requesting LANUX1F at LOWW.
Re. RNAV with vertical guidance approaches. I read up on the AOC, Fokker call it an FMS approach. on appropriately equipped aircraft you're supposed to enter the MDA on the FMS APPR page (doesn't exist on the modeled variant) then with NAV/PROF armed it's supposed to descend down the profile to the MDA.
My first attempt at an RNAV approach into YBRM the other night was interesting. It wasn't selectable on the STAR page so I manually entered the waypoints and the altitude constraints. I tried to fly it in NAV/PROF but it went below profile and was about to bust the MSA before I intervened and hand flew it visually to the runway.
From now on with RNAV approaches I'll fly it with lateral guidance using the higher minima and descent with V/S selected. Seems to work much better.
