Just a few questions
-
Hi folks,
In my first flight in the F70 and enjoying it so far. Just a few issues or questions:-
Does the range selector on the EFIS CP not have a round 'TRFC' button in the centre of it? Appears to be missing on this
-
The 'ID' p[age of the Transponder panel doesn't appear to work - is this modelled? I'm not familiar with that form of transponder panel but you should be able to input the flight ID/callsign into it
-
The RMI says 'ADF' on it but you can't set the ADF option - will that be coming in the future?
also
4) doing a LVLCH descent and swapping from selected mach no. to IAS sends the thing potty and the selected IAS doesn't show as the target on the PFD. This needs looking at- The direct to nav feature in the FMS needs looking at - I'm sure it should, when line selected against the waypoint, show a provisional routing on the ND - at the moment it just goes straight to the selected waypoint without asking any questions
I know you've said that development will continue as it does in all your other brilliant products. Will there be failure options, eventually? I was hoping to be able to dig out the QRH and get stuck in to some issues in this
Cheers

Thank you for your feedback. To answer each of your points:

Thanks for reporting. We'll log this on our internal trackers and investigate further.

The FID functionality of the transponder is simulated. The process for adding a flight ID is covered on page 165 in the F70 & F100 Operations Manual.

The ability to switch between ADF and VOR/TACAN indications on the RMI was optional on the real aircraft. In aircraft fitted with that functionality, there would be an ADF/VOR selector panel on the main instrument panel that would allow you to toggle those. Our reference aircraft weren't fitted with that option, so we modelled it as a blanking panel in our simulation. We would like to add this as a piece of toggleable equipment via the EFB, but we wouldn't be able to commit to that or provide any time frame at this stage.
For points 4 and 5, we would really need more information on those before we would be able to comment. Therefore, could I kindly ask you to raise a support ticket for those with Just Flight Support at the following link: https://www.justflight.com/support
The F70 & F100 Professional are complex products, so in order to give our support team the best chance at offering speedy assistance, could you please include any screenshots/videos of the behaviour with your ticket, as well as attaching the log file generated by the product?
Instructions for locating the log file can be found here: https://support.justflight.com/en/support/solutions/articles/17000152594-where-to-find-the-log-file-s-
With regards to a failure system, we don't have one in development at the moment; however, our post-release updates/upgrades will largely be driven by community feedback, so there is a possibility of one being implemented in a future update if there is enough demand.

OK thanks Mark have submitted a ticket. Can I also ask if the 'INTC FIX/CRS' option in the DIR page will be implemented as it's currently missing. I appreciate there will be further development on the FMS pages and fucntionality.

-
We don't have any plans to add the INTC FIX/CRS functionality to the DIR TO page, as that was introduced as part of a later FMS software update compared to the one we have simulated. We will, however, log it on our feature request tracker to consider in the future.
