    Hi All,

What's the best way of enabling failures in BS aircraft? What MSFS 2024 settings do I need to enable (or disable!) to make it all work?

    Thanks in advance.

    Phil

      Hi Phil,

The only "best practice" you might want to know is in the FAQ in the manual:

The “Engine Stress Failure” option must also be enabled in the MSFS Assistance menu for the engine to fail completely.

Other than that, no options need to be configured in the menu, as all failures are handled from the failures page of the tablet interface in the cockpit.

In case it saves you any headaches, I will also add that most users of complex 3rd party aircraft also like to disable airframe stress damage in the MSFS menu, since this interprets opening a small side window as an unrecoverable crash, resetting your flight.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you!
