    This is FS24, aircraft streamed, state saving disabled.

    Observation:
    When starting the flight after clicking ready to fly, the landing/taxi/wing lights are always lit even though the aircraft does not have any power. If you use the 'Take control of character' key to enter then exit the plane, the lights will then be off.

    Questions:
    Should the entry lights work with just battery power enabled? The compass can be lit but the entry lights will not no matter what I do with the two entry switches. I think they both use the same bus. Am I missing something?

    Is there any way to open the door from outside?

    When you use the take control of character key, you always end up in the pilot's seat - is that fixed in the sim or something implemented by yourselves? It would be better (IMHO) to start just inside the aircraft.

    Any help/feedback appreciated, Neil.

    P.S. The plane is an excellent piece of development, keeping me busy alongside the F28. Love them both.

      Thanks for the feedback. To answer each of your points:

      1. The exterior lighting bloom visible during 2024 walkaround mode is known and has been fixed for the next RJ update

      2. Entry lights are powered by the Ground Service Bus (which requires the APU/GPU to power AC BUS 2).

      3. Support for MSFS 2024 walkaround will be added in the next update.

      4. This is not something we have looked into, so we wouldn't be able to give a solid answer to this. The logic is the same in all of our aircraft; where entering the aircraft will place you in the captain's seat.

        @Mark,

        Many thanks for getting back to me.

        The only odd thing is the entry lights. When you start the APU or connect the GPU in the dark, the cockpit is illuminated well as the panel flood (X2) and console flood are all lit - making the entry lights a bit pointless. Also, if you switch the entry lights on using either of the cockpit switches - it also turns on the entry lights in the galley - but the galley entry light switch then has no impact. If entry lights are off in the cockpit then the galley switch turns the galley entry lighting on/off as expected.

        Just seems a bit illogical to me, however, maybe that's how it works on the real aircraft.

        Regards, Neil.
