Yes, keep getting that inop A/T too. Need to restart the flight 2-3 times until the A/T switch starts ON and with the green light. Note that I am spawnig on the runway so with engines running. IF they start being running, sometimes even the engines start off when spawning on the runway. Still weird and not ok IMHO

      Hey team,

      I too get this problem.

If you wait ages (>10 minutes) you get a FMGS* PASS flash up on the PFD and all the AP/TPR/YD systems start to work again.

Not sure if this is linked to panel state changing or if its linked to the 'state saving' option in the settings. As it is random, but happens with each plane.

Im unable to load a 'cold and dark' as there are too many background software errors (e.g when you turn on power the windscreen wipers are on max by default, Ive never sued the wipers for any reason).

*I think it was FMGS PASS as it flashes up momentary and didnt pick all the letters. It was 'something PASS' related to all the systems.

well, indeed. I let it sit today reeeeally long and voilá, A/T showing green lights and good to go. will double check soon. no idea though what's going on in the backgroud when one flight A/T starts readily engaged and one time not. with very same Rj85 Lufthansa livery (official) and at the very same airport.
BTW, clicking the fly now button as soon as it turns yellow/can be clicked did NOT do the trick, still A/T lights was grey and could not be enabled

Yup. Same. Usually RJ works just fine. Let it sit for several minutes before attempting to start from C/D. I don't use any liveries just the ones that come with the default plane.

Well, still a hit and miss with the AP working correctly right after starting a flight. Just wondering whether this something JF is aware of and looking into?

Tried it 2 times in SU3beta and it loaded both times properly with AT on and Green. so hoping that is was eventually adressed - by MSFT. Will report back with more feedback from todays new SU3beta

The behaviour raised previously in this thread was MSFS 2024 specific and related to some specific WASM initialisation logic that isn't required in MSFS 2020 (that logic was also fixed in the v0.1.4 update, which added native MSFS 2024 support).

It's tricky to diagnose behaviours such as the one you are describing without knowing more information about the aircraft's state and the steps taken leading up to that behaviour occurring.

What I would recommend is firstly double-checking that the aircraft is set up correctly with the appropriate electrical power for that stage of flight (there is a tutorial flight from page 206 of the RJ Professional Operation Manual that should walk through the process of configuring the aircraft for flight: https://downloads.justflight.com/products/JFF003765/RJ_Professional_MSFS_Operations_Manual_MSFS2024.pdf).

If the A/T behaviour persists when following the steps in the tutorial flight, could I kindly ask you to raise a ticket with Just Flight Support at the following link: https://www.justflight.com/support

In the ticket, if you could include steps for how our support team can reproduce that behaviour, and ideally screenshots/videos showing the behaviour, then our support team will be in the best position to be able to offer assistance.

This sounds very similar to I have with an issue with the LVL CHG mode of the autopilot. A fresh WASM folder/install solves the problem temporarily. But over time, it goes back to not working.

Just thought I'd chime in here that I experienced the same thing this morning on 2020. Started from a cold and dark state on a fresh computer restart. Not really sure what I did differently this time around, but wasn't able to get AT (it would just snap off) or AP to function; FD switches turned on but no FD displayed.

It is very much possible that your TRP was blank, that is when you get no A/T. Happened to me earlier. I only experienced this with the RJ85, but not the 100.
