BAE146 not loading
-
Not seen anyone else with this issue but currently the 146 will not load into the sim. I am stuck with the top overview of the airport and the wheelie thing just going around and around. Installed the 2024 with the patch and turned off my anti virus when installing. I am however on SU4B so wonder if anyone else has been able to load in.
Cheers

It's silly that it makes a difference in MSFS2024, but you can try zooming in closer to the starting airport (but not fully zoomed in, as it will then zoom out again before loading). Can sometimes be the extra nudge to get it properly working.
Also on SU4Beta here with some previous issues, but with a reinstall and clearing WASM data for the 146, it seems to be working fine here now. -
Thanks for your replies guys, will try the suggestions and have heard of the zooming in thing before. Will try again when back at my computer. Happy Flying.

Well I finally got it working. the fix. It had to have a flightplan that it recognised in simbrief. It was actaully a post from GSX that gave me the fix. I am flying the 146 again. IF you have my problem try making sure there is a FP in simbrief.

The very first time the 146 (or any WASM-based aircraft) is loaded in MSFS 2020 or MSFS 2024, it can take 5-10 minutes to load into the flight. This is expected behaviour for any WASM-based aircraft, and our general advice would be to wait 5-10 minutes on the initial load for the aircraft to load successfully, and then subsequent loads should be much faster.
In 2024, there are some quirks with how the simulator loads WASM-based aircraft. There are instances where the simulator gets stuck in an infinite loading screen, but there were some fixes for this listed in a recent SU4 Beta changelog, so this should hopefully be improved in the full SU4 release.

The v2.4 update to the 146 was predominantly focused on bringing across the improvements we made to the RJ over the previous year. They are now both 'MSFS 2024 Native', and with similar feature sets, so they can be considered equally up-to-date in that sense.
Alas, we did add some additional features to the 146 in the v2.4 update, which we do want to bring across to the RJ. No timescale for the next RJ update at the moment, but we'd like to do that relatively soon to keep both products at the same level.
