I just got the Vulcan and it's fun to hand fly, although I noticed when trying the altitude hold, the plane goes up and down constantly, going from +4000fpm to -4000fpm and so on, am I flying it wrong or is it a bug? If I'm flying it wrong I wouldn't mind knowing how to use it correctly :D

    Hi Shifor

I think it's probably not you. There are mentions of this on the forum (and the previous forum before this one) going back to November 2018.

I find it works fine above perhaps 20,000ft or so (perhaps a bit less), but not at medium or low level. It does need you to trim it out before engaging Alt Hold, but at high level it does seem to work fine.

If you lodge a support request it might encourage them to fix the issues, but I've been waiting a while myself.

Here are a few mentions of Alt hold issues in case it's of help.

Hope that is of some help.

@SteveMk1 Oh alright, I hope they get a fix out soon because I plan to fly the Vulcan for November's VATSIM CTP lol, wouldn't really be possible without a functioning altitude hold
