I brought this up previously for the RJ/BAE, but would like to also specifically request it for the F28.

The default JF voice overs are lovely, but as someone who flies the F28 primarily up and down the eastern seaboard of the US, I do find myself wishing the voices could be made to be more regionally appropriate to the area. 🙂

Can you please add a feature allowing us to either replace the voices with our own voice packs -- my preferred option -- or provide an option to toggle between a few pre-made regional voice packs? I'd be happy to provide some voice talent from myself and some others to cover the American accent.

Failing that, if I can find someone who knows how to work with soundpack files who can allow me to do this as a mod, does JF have any issues with the soundpack being modded in this way?

    Thanks!

Looks like this isn't something individuals can mod themselves since the voice tracks are embedded in the wwise .pck file. I spoke to a SME who said even if you use a tool to unpack the .pck you can't re-package it without the original wwise project files.

So, looks like this would have to come from your side, JF!

This is something we have logged from the requests received from our other aircraft. it is something we would also like to add support for and there have been some initial discussions about it internally.

Appreciate so much that you continue to show the F28 love and I appreciate the last reply to this request was that it was being considered. The F28 obviously has just received a huge update which didn't include this feature based on the changelog and, with no further replies to this or additional discussion of it seen elsewhere, I wanted to float this back up to the top of the forum to ask again if it can please be implemented?

I also would love to know if this is already planned to be implemented in the F70/F100.

It is something we still have logged on our feature request list; however, sound updates weren't in the scope for the v2.2 update, so there have been no changes to the sounds.

The sound set for the F70 and F100 is still in active development, so I wouldn't like to confirm or deny a feature at this stage, as things may change ahead of release. If it is a feature at release, we'll be sure to list it in the product description and manual. If it's not a feature at release, it will already be on our feature request list for us to look into down the road.
