Unusable in SU3
-
Hello All:
I've seen some other reports but the RJ is completely unusable for me. When I attempt to even change the livery the aircraft does not render. Once I attempt to load in, aircraft is either missing or upper half of cabin loads in minus aircraft skin. In cockpit I have nothing but low textures, and there is no functionality. Its like the game stopped loading midway through process. I have tried multiple attempts
I have at this point tried all the normal stuff
- Updated drivers
- Re-Installed FSS Swapper and updated
- Cleared all the caches
- Removed any mods that might cause a conflict
Let it just sit for like 30 minutes hoping textures would finally load in. Nothing. I've seen maybe changing LOD but to what exactly? Any suggestions other than wait for version 1.4 ?
Running 4090, 64G RAM, Intel i7 14.700

I hadn't been in the RJ since SU3 dropped (spent far more time in the F28) so I hopped in to check this out. I haven't had any problems. However, when SU3 dropped I reinstalled the sim, which means that before I could fly the RJ I also had to reinstall it to pass the activation check. Have you reinstalled the RJ, or maybe tried clearing the WASM folder to see if that fixes the problem?
The potential LOD solution you mentioned is probably the new LOD curve. If you turn on developer mode through the "advanced" menu, you'll get the dev mode toolbar on top of your sim screen. Under the "debug" tab, near the bottom, you'll see "Use New LOD Curve," which you can try unticking. But my understanding is that may cause you problems with other LOD related things over time.

I haven't seen any other reports of the RJ not being functional in MSFS 2024 post SU3, so this sounds like it may either be an installation-related issue, or a conflict with another mod/product.
The first thing I would recommend is completing a fresh reinstall of the product. Uninstall the product, download a fresh copy of the latest installer from the store you purchased from, and then run the installer through. Then launch MSFS 2024 and see if that has resolved the issue.
Note, we have also just released RJ Professional v0.1.4, which updates the RJ to a fully native MSFS 2024 package: https://community.justflight.com/topic/7294/rj-professional-changelog-updated-28-08-25
If a reinstall hasn't resolved the issue, then I would recommend trying a flight in the RJ with an empty community folder (except for the RJ). The best way to do this will be to rename your Community folder to something like "Community.old" and then create a new one named "Community" and run the RJ MSFS 2024 installer, that will allow you to test this with an empty Community folder and then revert back to your old Community folder without having to reinstall everything. If the RJ works without any other mods/products in the Community folder, then that likely points to a conflict.
If the above solutions don't work, could we kindly ask you to raise a ticket with Just Flight Support at the following link, and one of our support team will be able to assist with further troubleshooting: https://www.justflight.com/support
