To the developers for FS Traffic, I have been using FS Traffic for some time now and it's fair to say it's very good and I've enjoyed using it, but because the integration isn't there with FSHud makes it a little worse. Not many people use Default MSFS ATC anymore which people understand, which works with FSTraffic people tend to use third party software's. FSLTL currently supports FSHUD.

After speaking with the FSHud Support Team earlier today, it's been brought to my attention that it's FS Traffic Developers that haven't made the link with FS Hud to bring their traffic in with this. As FSHud has told me their API is there for you to link, which I'm asking for because I'm more than satisfied with FS Traffic it's just the downfall of not being able to use a third party ATC because they've not been linked. And not many people would be willing to change from FS Hud now as it's the next best software at the moment. Me and many others using FS Hud also using FS Traffic is asking for it to be intergrated which we have been asking for, for a very long long time.

@CamJR123 We have merged both of your forum posts into this one to prevent duplicate posts.

We are aware that there is a small portion of the community that would like to see FS Traffic support FS Hud, and it is something we have logged on our internal feature request tracker. However, this is not the highest priority for us at the moment as there are other bug fixes, improvements and new features that we would like to add to FS Traffic product first.

I doubt it is only a small portion of the community that would like to see FS-Traffic support FS-Hud.
I personally use FS-Traffic because I fly at times and at places with no or only few AI traffic when I would use FSLTL. FS-Traffic with their scheduled flights is the perfect tool for me.

However, with FS-Hud and in the future BATC, we now already have two new and very wide spread ATC tools that do not interact with traffic generated by FS-Traffic at all and point to FSLTL instead.
Looking forward, this will make a significant number of FS-Traffic users rather switch to FSLTL if FS-Traffic does not react and adopt to these new generation ATC tools.

Hi @Mark, I understand that you have a list plenty of bug correction and new features, but this one is a game changer in terms of simulation, not for a small portion of your customers base, but a large one. As @CamJR123 and @Twilfert notified it, there is no comparison between FSLTL (although not bad at all) and FS Traffic. But combining best products from both worlds - traffic generator and ATC - is A MUST.
Please do upgrade this request in your list and provide this connexion with FS Hud by using their open and accessible API.
          Greetings from Switzerland.

It would be such a win for Just Flight if they could allow FSHud to access the flightplans and models/textures from FSTraffic. AIG has become an absolute nightmare to manage and is buggy, full of errors and FSX/P3D era models. It can look great but why anyone would put an 8k livery on AI is beyond me.

Just Flight, you are missing out here. Adding FSTraffic to FSHud, which is arguably the best ATC at the moment for MSFS (without speech recognition), would surely bring you new customers and justify the time investment on your end?

I agree with all the messages above. FShud is currently one of the best solutions for the ATC of msfs which wants to be ‘simulation’. All we need now is an optimised fleet with flight plans to use with FSHud -> Justflight, you can do this!

This seems even more important now with the news that FSLTL have removed their FSHud support! We now have to either use AIG or the simulator's live traffic, neither of which are great options.

I've just bought FS Traffic and am really disappointed to see that it performs so badly when used with FS Hud. The dev at FS Hud says the problem lies with FS Traffic and there are two solutions:-

                  1. Start using FSHud API SDK to inject AI Traffic directly to FSHud.
                  2. Change injection way to MSFS so it will be also compatable with FSHud (take into account the fact that traffic aircraft can be intercepted and removed by another application like FSHud.

FS Traffic is currently useless to me without integration with FS Hud. If I'd known I wouldn't have bought it.

                    Hi,
I spent some time chatting with the FSHud developer today and we were able to work out what the problem was here. FSHud should be compatible with FS Traffic once the sim settings have been configured correctly according to the quick start guide in the FS Traffic manual.

The FSHud admin has posted a clarification on their Discord:

Thanks for reporting the problem, and thanks to the FSHud admin for their time.

I've followed all the setting guidelines from that post. At some airports, the full FSTraffic schedule will show up. At other airports, only around 4 planes will show up when the schedule says there should be about 40. Another problem, no planes that are labeled as "Parked" ever become active for their flights at any airport. The only active traffic I get is from incoming flights during landing.

I agree with the others. Both programs are great. We just need to get them to work together.
