Metar update while in flight?

It appears to me that the metar does not update while flying.
If I open another program to check metar at an airport, it is usually more current than the one in the RJ tablet.
Is there a way to refresh the metar so we get the most current metar?

The METAR displayed on the OFP page is sourced from the Simbrief OFP, and therefore, will only be updated if the Simbrief OFP is re-generated. We do have this logged as a feature request on our internal tracker as something to possibly revisit in a future update.
