Transponder no power

    146 Pro version 1.2.3.
    Couple days ago was minor problem to get a correct take off and I wonder if there is something wrong in my installation so I un-install / re-install aircraft.

    Today I found that the Transponder is blanco - other words - there is no power after I power aircraft following a checklist.

    Windows 11, 23H2 -> last update yestarday
    GSX Pro -> updated yestarday
    Navigraph Charts
    FUIPC by Peter Dowson -> used for AivlaSoft EFB
    Used paint is default Eurowinngs D-AQUA

    Okay - I got solved transponder problem. I re-install aircraft again - that was a trick. But there is an other problem now.

    As I taxi towards runway all went ok - line up - ok but as I start a take off procedure and co pilot announced me that takeoff power is set I move a throttle gentle to full power and aircraft start to move and suddenly the plane turn hard to left and not obey my rudder at all. I move rudder pedals like crazy until the plane obey my commands. Hard to explain... Then I can continue my takeoff.

    There is something odd going on and I am used this aircraft many hours earlier without problems. Although I kept a few mounhts brake because I tested a new MSFS 2024 sim.

    BAE 146 is used MSFS 2020 simulator.

    The first thing I would recommend checking is the "Rudder Steering Axis" on the EFB Aircraft > Configuration Menu. With this option enabled the rudder pedals can be used to control the aircraft's nose wheel steering (the same method as most aircraft in MSFS). With this option disabled, the rudder pedals will be disconnected from the nose wheel steering, and the nose wheel steering can only be controlled either using the nose wheel steering tiller in the aircraft or the Nose Wheel Steering control assignments. If you're unsure of which setting to use, I would recommend leaving this option enabled.

    It may also be worth double checking the wind conditions at the time of the takeoff. The 146 is certified for up to 30 knot crosswind for takeoff and 35 knots for landing. Anything higher than that and the rudder control may not be sufficient to keep the aircraft on the runway.

    Other than those points its tricky one to narrow down without a video. If you're able to supply a video of the behavior we may be able to better comment on what the cause may be.

    Hi Mark!

    Thanks a lot for Yours answere! The source of the my problem with Rudder must be "Rudder Steering Axis" setting. A some reason I pasted this setting after re-installation.

    Update:

    I check my setting -> EFB Aircraft > Configuration Menu -> "Rudder Steering Axis" was ticked. Weather in Jersey Island was very clear, under 9 kts tailwind.

    Today I went to You Tube to check a few Tutorials video made by JustFlight. I start watching "146 Professional MSFS from Just Flight - Powering on the Aircraft Preview" and I found a problem.

    Timeline 6:46 -> DC Pump to ON -> Check Yellow Hydraulic Pressure. In my case pressure not increase although I wait a few minutes. AC and PTU test worked normally.

    I stopped my test at this point because this problem. Any idea about what could be the problem because it would be nice to get this bird to sky again.

    The current logic that you are seeing in the simulator is correct. I seem to recall we improved the DC Pump logic post release so the original tutorial videos won't show the latest logic.

    When switching on the DC Pump there shouldn't be any increase in Yellow system hydraulic pressure indicated on the overhead panel, instead an increase in Yellow brake pressure should be indicated on the brake pressure indicators on the lower main instrument panel.

    Thank You again. Good to know that the procedure going as You wrote. I'm read the Manual here and there but I like watch a videos but a good videos is hard to find. Somebody miss some things or go too fast to forward and some those videos are old. I liked JustFlight video series because it's made very clear way.

    Anyway - I must check and start from the Manual page 181...

    The brake pressure starts quite high already, so chances are that enabling the DC pump only leads to a minimal increase. You can make it more obvious by pumping the brakes a few times before turning on the pump.
