Personnal musics doesn't works

Hi, with the 2024 version my personnal boarding music doesn't works (playing only 1 second). No problem on the 2020 version.

am I the only one with this problem?
PS: I've followed the manual for the music and the .INI file edition.

Could you kindly confirm if the default music is working as expected? There have been no sound changes on our side with this MSFS 2024 compatibility update and the default music has been working the same as it did in MSFS 2020 during testing, so as far as we're aware there shouldn't be any reason why imported music should behave any differently.

Personally, I haven't tried importing custom music into the 2024 version yet so I can't speak with 100% confidence, but I will add this to my list to look into.

Similar issue. I have 3 songs used in slots 1-3 and also used in 4-6. They play fine in 2020 but only song 3 plays properly in 2024. Song 1 has some odd noises and others do nothing. Odd song 3 which is duplicated in slot 6 does not play.

Thank you for all your hard work and support. I can confirm that there is no problem with the default music.

Note that I've edited the .ini file to include the music names.
I can send you the files and the mudic if you'd like to try them out.

Have you redone your layout.json file? I had issues until I did this. Download the layout.json generator from

You have to convert files to .mp3. If it's .wav, it will not work.
