Happy Birthday!

Do they still plan on the main update that was talked about end of December?

@Irishman67 funny how all third party add on devs have scrambled endlessly to update their products for p3d v5 but with traffic global Can’t even get a progress update from them since 1.4 was released and obviously not tested and a big flop. It’s also obvious this early access is very low on their priority list, I also own the X-Plane version and will says it’s a great product and has timely updates for 11.50 beta etc, obviously a much bigger priority than than this version

Any status update available for TG FSX/P3D regarding the re-worked schedule and some of the other still to be addressed issues (i.e. GA, cargo ac)
Also has there been any progress made with regard to the P3Dv5 compatibility issue?
Thanks

P3D V5 broke a fundamental bit of code used in Traffic (all flavours) and so that has had to be rewritten from scratch. Luckily, that has been successful - although taken a lot of work - and we should be able to get that tested, an update released and then get back to finishing the aircraft and other bits for the final update.

@Derek
That sounds very good - but what about the other issues raised here? Most important being the somewhat chaotic state of TG/EA. I accidentally clicked the Go to Forum button on the TG screen, and it brought me to the saddest forum (TG/EA), I've ever seen. There was a new post there, though: Someone asked a question, which was not responded to, and after some time made another post, whether he should get a refund, since no reply or anything. If you don't want to maintain that forum, GET RID OF IT - and of the button on the TG screen.

We closed that forum some months ago. It was re-opened recently for a couple of users to test some new aircraft. Rest assured it is not active and will be closed again fairly soon.
Meanwhile, once the V5 update is sorted, we will return to finishing the extra aircraft and probably have one more update to the program. As far as functionality goes, it was finished a long time ago, but we have left it as 'EA' while we update some of the GA aircraft, expand the fleet and implement a new way of scheduling the traffic. However, for most users they will only see a difference by way of the new aircraft.

No I think he`s talking about this on the front interface it does not work anyway only the forum link works.

@Ray-Fry
I am pretty sure that looks like something in the game, not on the website?I put a link to the main page for TG up above. If you can let me know where the link is we will get it removed. If you are talking about a link in the game, that would need a patch for every copy that is out there and would have to be part of an update.
-
That'll be in the game, not a link on the web page?

@Derek
Hi Derek!
Yep, the link's on the TG interface when you fire up the program.
As Ray has said, it's most likely the one that's being referred to.
Hope all at JF are staying safe and sane!:slightly_smiling_face:Frank

Yup. When I bought the Early Access, I didn't realise they meant TWO GODDAM YEARS EARLY.
