V1.1.2 2024 Install
-
@rbringh That looks like it should be fine. Can you raise a support ticket please, so we can see whether we can work out where it's hidden itself?
The other thing you could try is looking for your UserCfg.opt file, which should specify (usually at the bottom of the file, which can be opened using Notepad or another text editor) where the sim thinks Community is. It doesn't look like that's what the issue here is, but it's worth checking.
Thanks.

@Ian-P Well until we can resolve the installer issue I put a copy of it from 2020.
Which brings me to another question, when I updated the 2020 version using the 2020 installer, looking at the manifest in the RJ folder it shows...did this just not get updated?

I haven't actually updated my own 2020 install yet, I'm ashamed to say, and I'll have to defer to someone else to answer that one.
I'll add it to your support ticket as a note and ask the development team to comment, through that, if no-one can answer it here.

@Sergekoko said in V1.1.2 2024 Install:
What is the path to the work folder containing flight plan directory for the 2024 version, to drop in flight plan files into?
It seemed to change for me as well, I have the steam version of MSFS 2024, I found it here C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\WASM\MSFS2020\justflight-aircraft-rj\work\JustFlight\FlightPlans and it seemed to work.

@Sergekoko The file directories for the local flight plans will vary depending on the simulator and the store where the simulator was purchased from:
MSFS 2020 – Microsoft Store:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\justflight-aircraft-rj\work\JustFlight\FlightPlansMSFS 2020 – Steam:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\justflight-aircraft-rj\work\JustFlight\FlightPlansMSFS 2024 – Microsoft Store:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\WASM\MSFS2020\justflight-aircraft-rj\work\JustFlight\FlightPlansMSFS 2024 – Steam:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator2024\Packages\justflight-aircraft-rj\work\JustFlight\FlightPlansThe three RJ Professional manuals have also been updated with the v0.1.2 update to includes various minor differences between 2020 and 2024 file directories:
RJ Professional Operations Manual
RJ Professional EFB Manual

@Sergekoko Assuming the FMS has electrical power and all of the switches on the AVIONICS panel are switched ON, the FMS not powering on could be due to a WASM compiling issue in MSFS 2024. We would recommend trying the steps listed in point 1 in the following FAQ: https://support.justflight.com/en/support/solutions/articles/17000143831-rj-professional-msfs-2024-known-issues

@Mark I peformed the steps for the runway start portion and on the final step the RJ100 did have the FMS come alive. Oddly now when i start it on the ramp cold and dark after, the FMC is still not turning on.
Tried again to load in on the runway and it does show as working when loading into the take off from runway state from the game menu, but not when selecting that state from the EFB also. -
Do you think maybe a reinstall of the aircraft may fix the problem?
Update: Reinstalling it didnt fix the issue, and another attempt at doing step 1 with loading a different variant did not yield a functioning fms on runway, even though it did it previously on the previous install. Tried a few other things like panel states etc. to no avail as well.

I spent over an hour last night trying out every combination for loading and initializing the aircraft, and I was getting the FMS screen turning on about once or twice for every 10 loads. It didn't matter if it was on the runway or the ramp. I tried multiple airports, real-time vs. setting specific times, etc, real weather vs fixed. The times the FMS turned on seemed completely random and I could not identify a repeatable pattern of success.
