On starting the game, everything works fine. Both the GPS and VLOC guidance work and I can switch between them, manipulate the course and frequencies, etc.

But press the NAV 2 on the remote datum selector panel, and from this point onwards, the aircraft's autopilot and HSI refuse to take guidance from the GNS530 unit. Switching back to NAV 1 does not help.

The GNS530 unit itself is unaffected, and both VOR's work normally. You can even still change the frequency of the NAV 1 VOR using the Garmin unit. But no more GPS guidance until exit to main menu and load in a new plane.

Now, not necessarily a bug, but something I found interesting to note and maybe has something to do with the bug. But the Garmin exclusively seems to interact with the NAV 1 radio.

The frequencies on the Garmin's NAV radio datafield, and of the aircraft's analogue NAV 1 radio seem to mirror eachother. Changing frequency on the Garmin, changes it on the NAV 1 radio, and vice versa. Hitting the V switch key on the Garmin sets the new active frequency on the NAV 1 radio aswell.

But the NAV 2 radio is completely unaffected by anything you do on the Garmin and vice versa?

Not a bug per se, but I'm pretty curious why that happens?

Thank you for reporting this. This is something we have logged on our internal bug tracker and is something we plan to investigate ahead of the F28 V2 update. I suspect it's caused by a limitation of having a single GPS unit in the aircraft, but we will investigate that further.
