    HI,
maybe I'm just stupid right now, but my TRP window is blank and whatever button I press on the TRP it stays blank. I therefore cannot use any AT or Thrust rating. Did I miss any switch on the overhead or what are the conditions that the TRP panel "gets alive". All the switches for avionics/ap etc are on. It was a loaded "turnaround" state. In my first flights everything worked fine and i could always enter assumed temperatures/v-speeds right away...
    Thanks for your help
    chris

With the overhead panel switches ON the TRP should come alive with electrical power. Did you select BATTS and/or EXT PWR ON? Was either the TRP FAIL or OFF annunciator illuminated?

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Batt and EXT PWR were already on. I recycled them all and maybe somehow an electric circuit was not properly closed...?? I did not see a TRP FAIL or OFF annunciator. I just got an "AF" (ARINC FAIL) in the N1-Set window over the engine indicators as long as the TRp was blank.

and sorry, not sure what you mean in the end...

A point of interest. On the RJ aircraft, master switches on the avionics overhead panel MUST be switched on from left to right, and switched off from right to left. Failure will cause spurious warning to be logged by the Flight Guidance System, or Systems, if 2 are fitted
