It's a video...not a still imageNot moving here I am afraid. That's what got me confused. Do you know the score with this Logan Air thing? Does it stop jittering if you change the livery? That seems to be what he is saying. Not sure that was the issue in the EA forum but I will see if we can replicate it.
Seems like this should be a support issue if the plane moves when it's not supposed to. -
@Derek
Not sure why it wouldn't be viewable in video format....Ray has the Flickr privacy setting set to 'pubic' meaning it should be viewable in any browser
Don't know about the Logan Air livery and if changing it causes the jittering to stop....sounds like Ray has attempted to change liveries but the the lateral jittering behavior is still present
I'm pretty sure that the S340 jittering issues were referenced more than once in the EA forum -

@Ray-Fry If it's a bug can you raise a support ticket with Just Flight and we can look into it.

Derek, I don't know if this would help clarify this issue a bit, but here's a couple of posts from the EA forum concerning problems with the Saab 340 model in TG that were raised by a number of other users at the time:
These were by no means the only references on the EA forum to this issue and problems remain in the latest update to TG.
Rich did fiddle with it a bit but the jittery behaviour on the ground was eventually deemed unresolvable.
I've personally all but given up on TG now, but couldn't resist testing all the S340s in FSX and the model & prop problems still remain, along with their tendency to wander all over the place when taxiing.
Interestingly though, there's an alternate model [model.NEW] provided for the aircraft which, when substituted, had the all the same issues aside from the prop texture which is opaque. -
Yes - as I said I knew about the jittering but thought it had been fixed. It's the Logan Air bit I don't understand.

@Derek
Sorry, Derek...hadn't meant to restate the obvious..
There are indeed two separate issues:
The still unfixed problems with the Saab 340 model that affects all the repaints and, as far as I can recall from the EA forum, the fact that Ray couldn't see any Loganair S340s in P3Dv4, even though they show up fine in FSX.
Anyway, I've no wish to hijack this thread and only Mr Fry will know what he meant..... -
Loganair will not show in P3Dv4.5hf in order to get the S340 in the TG flight plans to show you have to substitute them now do you understand.
This one shows but again has a problem in P3D.

Not really. Help me out here:
- Are you reporting one problem or two?
- I think it's two - one is that Logan Air is in FSX but not P3D and the other is that the aircraft flickers?
- Is this flickering only present on Logan Air?
- Is this flickering confined to P3D or is it in both sims?
- Have you reported the bug(s) to Just Flight support?
-
My problem is the Regional Express, which is a very common aircraft at Aussie airports. I am therefore removing that livery from the aircraft.cfg for TG. That will leave only the ORBX models in my airports and they are stable.
I have not seen other S340s at other world airports, but as I mainly use long-haul heavies for those flights, any S340s are probably located at different parts of the airports and I don't see them. So I am not so concerned about other liveries.
HOWEVER, for other simmers who see them regularly at your airports, you can do the same for your TG S340s by removing the entry/entries for the offending livery/liveries from the aircraft.cfg file.
