If you open the pilot's storm window in flight the plane is instantly "overstressed" and destroyed.
This is a long standing MSFS bug that was fixed for the Arrows and Warrior so can we get the same fix applied to the Tomahawk as well ?

@Matchstick This isn't something we can replicate on our end. Do you recall what speed/altitude you were at when this occurred?

And just to confirm, is this the simulator's "overstressed" message you are receiving, not a failure related to the EFB / wear and tear logic?

It was at about 70kts at around 1500ft climbing out of EGBK and it was definitely the MSFS default black screen overstressed message.

Just tried again, spawning on the runway at EGBK. Took off and at 1100ft during climb out at 65kts opened the storm window and got the default
"You overstressed the aircraft and caused critical damage.
    Restart/Back To Main Menu"
    screen.

In case it's relevant this is with the Just Flight website version rather than the Marketplace one

If it will help I can try disabling all other add-on to see if it's triggered by some kind of conflict ?

I should have added that I'm using the latest SU15 beta.

We are investigating this now. It's possible that SU15 has introduced this as we don't see the issue using SU14.

In the meantime you should be able to get around the issue by disabling the 'Aircraft Stress Damage' option in the MSFS Assistance Options menu as that won't impact our custom wear and damage logic.

@Aeitrium We aren't able to reproduce this issue in SU14. Could you kindly open a support ticket with Just Flight support via the following link with steps to reproduce this issue: https://www.justflight.com/support

We can then get this properly tested and logged on our internal system.

I have this issue also. Using the SU15beta.
Took off and forgot to close the window and as soon as I rotated I got the overstress warning.
Flying with the doors cracked open (top latch unlocked) is no issue on the other hand. Nice for those virtual hot days if you can stand the extra wind noise;)

    @Mark Should I also open a ticket?

We already have this one logged as being an issue with the SU15 Beta, so you're fine not to raise a support ticket. We have seen these issues reported with other developer's aircraft in the SU15 Beta too, so hopefully, it's something that will be fixed on Asobo's end prior to the full SU15 release. If it's not fixed in the final SU15 release, then we'll investigate it and aim to get a fix released as soon as possible.
